HomeandRoad, based in San Diego, California, grew from a need to find a one-stop source of the most reliable and complete local info and travel for any city or town anywhere in the world.  HomeandRoad is developing a solution to provide a far better User experience than search engines (with their millions of results), local news sites (different name each city) or single-purpose sites (when you need local business listings and event tickets, or lodging and weather).  And though web Users seeking local content come in three types--Local Users, Regional Users and National Users--they all deserve to find what they want at a nationally-branded source that is reliable and complete.  Enter...HomeandRoad.

Our solution is to blend leading edge technology and content databases with local professional feet-on-the-street for content updating and local ad sales.   Build a core website platform, develop enterprise support systems, market online and offline and apply all to a licensed business model.  The differentiation to Users and advertisers is simply a better experience by realizing the potential of the web, and without invasive User profiling.  You know what you want.  Our goal is to deliver results without unrequested or unrelated content and ads.

Chief Executive Officer & Founder 
RICHARD S. SHAW has over 25 years of global entrepreneurial, start-up and management experience with a background in product development, user experiences and marketing.  He was Executive Director of the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center in San Diego County, California; Founder & Executive Producer of Network Programs International, creating and producing adventure travel TV series worldwide and multi-media projects for high tech and travel clients; and Production Manager for Resorts Publishing, a leading publisher of ad-supported hotel guest directories and real estate relocation directories.     
 
Chief Information Officer 
CAREY CAMAZINE is responsible for website development, enterprise software and development of products and services for the Local Markets and HomeandRoad.com in markets yet to be licensed. He brings over 15 years of experience in interactive technology, operations and advertising to the Corporate Management Team. Mr. Camazine has held Director of Ad Operations positions for Experian Interactive Media (LowerMyBills.com, PriceGrabber) and Freedom Interactive (60 media properties, 200+ websites); was CTO of UGO; Senior Account Engineer at NetGravity (Doubleclick); and Systems Engineer, NYC, for Union Bank of Switzerland.
 
Chief Financial Officer 
MARK C. NEILSON is an early investor in HomeandRoad and advises the Company on finance and investment issues. He has a wide range of experience with public and private companies as CFO. Mr. Neilson is the Managing Partner for the San Diego office of Tatum LLC, a fast growing nationwide CFO and CIO outsource provider, and previously was the CFO for Power Direct Marketing; is a Director for Supreme Industries; and also serves on the Boards of a number of private and public companies.    
 
Marketing & Sales 
ERIC MAGNUSON advises the Company on building User traffic to Local Market sites, and the brand entry portal HomeandRoad.com. He also has expertise in the development of a local and national sales infrastructure and a successful track record of P&L responsibility and business development. Mr. Magnuson is Managing Director of Business Development & Channel Sales   for Business Online; was Senior VP, Managing Director for Active Marketing Group, a division of The Active Network; Senior VP & Managing Director of Millsport LLC/Omnicom; and Senior VP Business Development for Embark.com.   
 
Local Market License Program
MICHAEL SICK is developing criteria for selecting and recruiting Local Market Licensees, and a Corporate program to support Local Market operations. He has over 25 years experience stimulating creativity and focusing resources on key objectives. Mr. Sick owns his own consulting firm, and was previously VP Marketing for Sybra Inc., Adept Computer Solutions, Pearle Vision and Jack In The Box.      
 
Advertising Sales & Interactive Operations 
DAVID ATKINS consults to HomeandRoad on website operations and ad sales. He is a recognized leader in the digital, ecommerce and media arenas with expertise across sales, operations, marketing and travel for companies such as Hyatt, Citysearch and Monster. Mr. Atkins was SVP of Revenue for Freedom Interactive, managing 200+ digital assets nationwide; VP & GM at IAC, where he also founded and launched LiveItUp.com; and was VP business development of Expedia, Inc.    
 
Travel Advisor 
FRANCES KIRADJIAN provides HomeandRoad with over 25 years of travel and tourism experience as a senior executive and pioneer of Internet travel booking. She is the CEO of The Kiradjian Group, a Los Angeles-based firm specializing in online marketing technology for travel-related companies; and North American Publisher of Travel Mole, a travel e-newsletter. Previously, Fran was the founder and co-owner of CCRA, a global consortium of web-based hotel marketing.
 
Business Advisor 
ROBERT W. BELLANO advises HomeandRoad on capitalization sources and positioning of the Company’s opportunity for investors and executives. He has extensive experience with startups and established companies in e-commerce, digital media and social networking. Mr. Bellano is the Managing Director of cFour Partners Worldwide in Los Angeles, a leading retained executive search firm.
